My darn computer ate my song I don't know what else can go wrong I didn't save it to the stick And now I think I will be sick I spent an hour writing it I don't like this a single bit If all else fails I start anew With something else for me to spew A love song? No, there are enough But maybe something off-the-cuff? This little ditty you may hear It ain't exactly Bill Shakespeare My rhymes are nonsense, I admit But I care not a single whit Just make a song, another hit Some other day I will commit This story has no whiff of truth The folly of a misspent youth It's nothing like you think it is It's just a song, nobody's biz
